MGM Resorts Internship Program

The Internship Program is a paid 12-week summer program designed for undergraduate students to gain practical, hands-on work experience. Interns will spend time working in a host department at one of our resorts and participate in a structured orientation that exposes them to the philosophy and culture of MGM Resorts International.

Management Associate Program (MAP)

The Management Associate Program (MAP) is a 12-month, hands-on training experience designed for recent college graduates. These candidates must possess sufficient skills, both academically and through work experience, to meet the challenges and demands of management. MAP is specifically designed to help build future generations of leaders in our company and provides participants with an unparalleled training and mentoring experience.


Aspire is a 10-week professional development program designed for line level employees who desire to further their skills and expand their opportunities within the company. The program includes classroom instruction, online eLearning classes, book readings and mentorship for department-specific positions that broaden their perspective and share leadership philosophies. A group project component requires building a proposal for the class graduation.

MGM Resorts Leadership Institute

Leadership Institute is a year-long development program for emerging leaders within the Company. Top talent at the Director and Vice President level will have the opportunity to come together for this intensive program of professional development. Classes are held monthly and cover a wide-range of topics including: Strategic Direction, Employee Engagement, Marketing, Leader Development and Finance.

Prerequisite: Formal nomination process
Eligible: Director or Vice President level with one-year company service
Length: One year

Management Academy

Management Academy is a 10-week professional development program designed specifically for experienced supervisors and assistant managers to broaden their skills, abilities and knowledge. The curriculum includes classroom and online development training, computer certification, book reviews, executive speakers as well as oral and written assignments to prepare them for manager positions within MGM Resorts.

By participating in mentor circles and working on group projects, participants will enhance their time management, networking and communication skills.

Educational Assistance

Educational assistance is one of the many employee incentives designed to assist all employees in their continued learning and development. This company benefit offers up to $2,100 per calendar year to eligible employees enrolled in a degree program at an accredited learning institution.

Diversity Champion Workshop

MGM Resorts International Diversity Champion Workshop is a two-day dynamic hands-on training course, that uses experiential learning. Participants take control of their learning and desired outcomes by stimulating personal and professional growth.

At the end of the two days, participants explain, define and link leadership behaviors to diversity. They also understand the value and dynamics of a high-performance team, along with the importance of the diversity business case.
